Moses Nkem Okorie

MD/ CEO

Moses joined the company in June 2023 as the MD/CEO. He brings to the management and board of Weston Charis a wealth of experience which spans 19 years in Retail Banks, commercial banks, corporate banks, and international trade operations and payments/E-Banking. He has worked in various negotiable organizations like Guaranty Trust Bank, Eco Bank, United Bank of Africa, and Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement Plc. Moses has his first degree in Accounting from Ambrose Alli University and an MBA from the prestigious Warwick Business School University of Warwick. He is also an Alumnus of Lagos Business School. He has attended several academic and professional programs around the world like the Chicago Booth Business School, University of Chicago, Boston University, IPADE Business School etc. Moses’s wealth of experience will immensely support the growth of Weston Charis MFB.

Afolabi Ahmed Olaiya

HEAD CFO

Mr. Afolabi Ahmed Olaiya is currently the Financial Controller of Weston-Charis Microfinance Bank Ltd. He has over 10 years’ experience in Finance, Internal Auditing & Control related field. He previously worked as an Internal Auditor/Controller at a reputable FCMG company in Kwara State before his appointment with Balogun Gambari Microfinance Bank Ltd, initially for the role of Head, Internal Control and Auditing and later Acted as the Head, Financial control for over 2 years. He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN). He is also a member of Associate Accounting Technician of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ATSWA) He also holds a degree in Accounting from Kwara State University, Malete and a Diploma in Accountancy from Crown Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti.

Tony Iheanacho

HEAD IT/CTO

Tony Iheanacho is an experienced IT professional with years of experience in information Technology infrastructure management, software, systems applications development and software security management. His technical skillset spans across models that aid to maintain and improve operational workflow. He has worked with several IT companies and financial institutions such as the United Bank for Africa, also as head Information Technology at GTI microfinance Bank and as head of Fintech and Digital Transformation at Alert MFB . He holds a degree in computer science. He is a certified software engineer, a Microsoft certified Professional and a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist. He is currently the head of IT and Chief Technology officer at Weston-Charis MFB.

Ibukunoluwa Salami

Ibukunoluwa is a dedicated and results-oriented professional with a background in Political Science Education and extensive experience in human resources and administration management. She has a proven ability to streamline processes, improve employee engagement, and foster a positive work culture. she possesses strong leadership skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to achieving organizational objectives. Ibukun worked with Maxxconnections as client engagement officer she also worked with with Stanbic IBTC Bank as Business Support and Resolution Officer. She Holds a degree in political science She joined Weston Finance and Trust Limited, March 2023 and currently the Head HR for Weston MFB

Olugbenga Ojo Elijah

HEAD OPERATION

Olugbenga Ojo ELIJAH. Joined the company in October 2020 as a Lead Business Process and Portfolio Management, who later rose to be Head of Operation. Olugbenga brings to the management of Weston-Charis MFB a wealth of experience which spans 14 years in Finance Company, Finance House, Microfinance Bank and Corporate Organization. He has worked in various reputable organizations like Fast Credit Limited, Grand Treasurers Limited a subsidiary of Consolidate Hallmark Insurance Plc., Work as a consultant to Ciggep Finance Ltd, and other Organization. Ms. Yetunde Ogundare is the Head Legal and Chief Compliance Officer of Weston-Charis Microfinance Bank Limited. She holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB) and BL respectively. She has 9 years’ post call to bar experience and over 6 years working experience in a financial sector. Prior to joining Weston-Charis Microfinance Bank Limited, she was the Head, Legal of Parkway Microfinance Bank Limited with the main responsibilities of general legal advisory and company secretariat services. This include but not limited to; board structure management, contracts and agreement review, advice on securitization, loan documentation review, advice on contentious and non-contentious matters and compliance with the regulatory guidelines.
